Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.

Yarn:

1 (1, 1, 1, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) 50 grams / 1.76 ounces (100.6 metres / 110 yards) skeins worsted-weight yarn

Approximate yardages:
85 (92, 100, 109, 118) (129, 140, 152, 165) metres /
93 (101, 110, 119, 129) (141, 153, 166, 181) yards

Needles:

• 5.0 mm (US 11 / UK 6) 24-inch (60-cm) circular needle OR size needed to obtain gauge. (Optional: Use a set of 5 double-pointed needles instead, especially for smaller hat sizes)

• Small cable needle

Notions:

• Yarn needle

• Stitch marker (multiple if you wish to mark pattern repeats)

Gauge:

21.5 stitches and 31 rounds = 4 inches / 10 cm square over stockinette stitch knit in the round. TAKE TIME TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE!
