Construction

Fingerless mittens are worked in the round from the cuff up to the fingers, then finished with the thumb.

Sizes

Measurements given are hand circumference, not finished garment measurements. Age ranges are approximates.

  1. Extra Small (Child): 6 to 6.5 inches (or 15 to 16.3 cm)

  2. Small (Youth & Ladies’ Small): 7 inches (or 17.5 cm)

  3. Medium (Youth Large & Ladies’ Medium): 7.5 inches (or 18.8 cm)

  4. Large (Ladies’ Large): 8 to 8.5 inches (or 20 to 21.3 cm)

1 (1, 1, 2) balls worsted-weight yarn with 99 metres in 50 grams (or 110 yards in 1.76 ounces).
